As such, the preliminary assessment defines the current situation
a company or product faces, and identifies relevant initiatives,
questions, and tasks that must be investigated.
Depending
on the objectives, NMI may use any of several activities for
this phase. An Internal Company Review will delve into past
research, financials, product mix, and current marketing strategies.
A Target Consumer Analysis will explore a variety of attitudes,
behaviors, product usage, lifestyles, and demographics of
relevant consumer segments through the use of our proprietary
HWTD and LOHAS
consumer databases. In addition, current levels of Brand Equity
and relevant attitudes toward your company and brand(s) will
be identified through a variety of activities. Finally, a
Macro Analysis will explore health and wellness trends that
will impact the success in achieving specific project objectives.
Ultimately, the Situation Analysis/Exploratory enables our
clients to have a strong foundation of understanding for all
ensuing activities.
